Why Study the Bible?

The Bible is a collection of writings which reveal who God is and how He relates to His creation, especially His relationship to mankind.  In addition, the Bible provides us with an infallible guide for living.  After all, the One who created life knows best how life should be lived.  Most importantly, the Bible reveals God’s plan for mankind, particularly, His plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.  The Bible shows us where we came from, who we are, and why we need salvation.  For these reasons, the Bible is an indispensable tool for knowing God and truly living an abundant life.
